What’s more universal than the motion of walking, common to everyone, everywhere, from infancy to old age? In previous editions of the Festival of Lights, Rémi Brun has given life and presence through light to a footballer in the middle of a match and to a galloping horse. He is one of the pioneers of motion capture in Europe and this animated tableau is made up of a multitude of dots of light, creating a five-metre-tall silhouette striding out. Look up and watch as the man walks purposefully across the square against the wind. He feels alive, his body in motion in in harmony with the natural elements. Are you ready to follow him?
