The statue in the middle of Place Sathonay is encircled by 18 modules emitting lights and sounds which make up words. The texts on display are updated in real time; they are French Google search terms. They are completely random illustrating the gap between what we say in public and in the privacy of our smartphone search engine. Stuck in the middle, Sergent Blandan looks down perplexed by the Sibylline conversation of this odd grouping. It is a minimalist and immersive installation, born of an anonymous action, which creates a strange atmosphere of introspection.
