Laurence’s art is shaped by the tools she uses: 2D animation and design. Working in the Lille area, she takes inspiration from the theories and practices of a people-centric eco-system. She explores our sensitivities and suppressed emotions to bring them to the surface and share them. A sense of empathy and a strong personal commitment underpin her artistic approach which aims to use art to embrace diversity and foster respect: it is a caring mindset which is all the more important in today’s society.
