Simon can boast an impressive list of exhibitions and artist residencies and is enjoying growing acclaim for his work. Somewhat of a non-conformist, his background is in both Art and Graphic Design and he is involved in collective practices in particular in the realm of storytelling. A prolific graffiti artist, he is continually innovating and seeking new proving grounds for digital technology. He does not like to take things at face value, choosing among the many tools in the culturemaker’s toolbox for his animated murals, drawings, 3D and audio-visual installations. Abstraction and symbolism are the hallmarks of his work. He lives and works in Aubervilliers, near Paris, and has already participated in the Festival of Lights in Emergence projects.
