In Paris and Marseille, this organisation works tirelessly to provide practical support for artists who are victims of war and racial, ethnic, sexual, gender-based, religious, economic, and political discrimination. For many years, artists have fought the forces of oppression; when they find themselves exiled or displaced, Ateliers provides them with spaces to create their art and organises meetings, festivals, and residences to help rebuild vital connections. They receive support from numerous sources, including the Ministry of Culture.
