An opera fan, Etienne Guiol makes operatic and dance videos as well as crafting monumental projections viewed in all corners of the globe. A trained illustrator, animator and stained glass artist, he explored a wide spectrum of pictural techniques before focussing on drawing and video. His classical training gives him a solid base for exploring movement freely in all its dimensions. Driven by a growing interest in staging performances and video projections, he founded BK International, which specialises in visual creation for large-scale projections and live performances in 2012. He adores Lyon and shares his passion for innovative light art - an ever-changing medium - by offering audiences a touch of escapism.
