VIVRE AUX ÉCLATS has been chosen by the City of Lyon as the beneficiary of the Lumignons du Cœur charity initiative during the 2026 Festival of Lights. Continuing the tradition at the heart of the festival, Lyon residents and visitors can show their generosity by buying Lumignon candles to light up their windows and/or by helping create a special light installation on Place Bellecour in the city centre.

In 2026, VIVRE AUX ÉCLATS celebrates 30 years of bringing its clown-based artistic projects to hospitals, care homes and other establishments in Lyon and the surrounding area
The participation of VIVRE AUX ÉCLATS in the Lumignons du Cœur initiative is a valuable opportunity to change perceptions of illness, ageing and disability, while supporting and highlighting the many healthcare professionals and others who work every day to make care more human and put people at the centre of the care they receive.
The goal is to raise €50,000, funding 1,700 visits by a pair of clowns to children in hospital, the elderly in care homes and people with disabilities.

Join the team as a volunteer at the Festival of Lights!
- From mid-November, helping with logistics and the sale of Lumignon candles.
- During the Festival of Lights, from Saturday 5 to Tuesday 8 December, at the Lumignons du Cœur site on Place Bellecour, Lyon.
