This restriction also applies to motorcycles and bicycles. Only the emergency services will have access. 

Car parks

The following car parks are open during the Festival:

•    Indigo Tolozan
•    Cordeliers (sortie des véhicules par la place des Cordeliers vers le quai Jean Moulin)
•    Confluence
•    Gros Caillou
•    Rozier 
•    Saint-Just (sauf le 8/12)

The following car parks will be closed (entrances and exits, 8, 9 and 10 December from 18:00 to 02:00, 11 December from 16:00 to 00:00):

•    LPA Antonin Poncet (exits only)
•    Bourse (exits only)
•    République (exit only and pedestrian entrances/exits blocked on Place République)
•    Hôtel de Ville (exit only and pedestrian entrances/exits blocked on Place Pradel)
•    Saint Georges (exit only, via rue St Georges – against direction of traffic)
•    Indigo Bellecour 
•    Célestins
•    Grolée
•    Terreaux
•    Tupin Central Park
•    Saint-Jean 
•    Quai de Saône Saint-Antoine

Disabled parking: It is located in rue du Garet. The parking spaces are between rue du Bat d'Argent and rue de L'Arbre Sec, accessible from quai Jean Moulin.

The following roads have parking restrictions: rue E. Herriot, rue P. Chenavard, rue de Brest, rue Gasparin, rue E. Zola, rue des Archers, rue Childebert (between Place des Jacobins and rue de la République), rue J. de Tournes (between Place des Jacobins and rue de la République), rue J. Fabre, rue du Président Carnot. 


TCL (Public Transportation)


The public is asked to use public transport. During the Festival, extra services will be provided on the metro, tramway and some bus lines.

Wearing a mask is recommended in transport and enclosed areas

Tickets are valid throughout the network: metro, tramway, funicular and bus transfers are permitted. All metro stations, tram and bus stops are accessible to persons with reduced mobility (except Croix-Paquet metro station).

You can park free of charge at 21 Park&Ride sites (parc relais) with a valid TCL ticket.



On Thursday, 8 December, you can travel free of charge from 4 p.m. to closing time.

On Friday 9, Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 December, you can enjoy unlimited travel from 4 p.m. until closing time with the "TCL en Fête" ticket (€3.30). You can buy a ticket from the automatic ticket machines or TCL ticket offices.

Unlimited travel with 1-day (€6), 2-day (€12) or 3-day tickets (€16.50)
