Olivier Ratsi is a visual artist known for his immersive installations that explore spatial perception. He became interested in images in the late 1990s, when he founded Emovie, a collective that creates audiovisual performances. His series entitled Anarchitecture, in which he photographs and then deconstructs buildings and landscapes in Korea, Japan, Tunisia and France, has been recognised by the New York Times Style Magazine and the MAAT Museum in Lisbon.
Co-founder, alongside other visual artists, of the visual label AntiVJ, he uses mapping techniques in performances across Asia, North America and Europe. Since 2019, his career has gained new momentum thanks to cultural institutions supporting his approach and creations, including the Grand Est Region, the Canadian Cultural Centre, the City of Marseille, and most recently the Gaîté-Lyrique in à Paris
