Thin poles of light of identical size are inserted at the base of tree branches. Their position depends on the size and shape of each plane tree but the aim is to take the shortest path from A to B.
Along Quai Romain Rolland, the installation provides an immersive experience as you walk under the incandescent lines on the branches. From the left bank of the Saône, this luminous trail of trees creates a panoramic view that stretches out like a musical score marked by the rhythm of the light waves.

The route of a historic thoroughfare, Quai Romain Rolland, is plotted in light, giving the impression of a dotted line.
