In a nutshell

An opera inspired by Gandhi’s Salt March is being staged at Studio 24. This 7-minute performance reminds us of the power of collective action when it is driven by a fervent quest for freedom.

A Salty Protest refers to Gandhi’s peaceful protest in 1930. It is the work of Immersive Opera, a company which produces immersive experiences making extensive use of opera house archives, décors and expertise. The idea is to immerse the spectator in a 360° light show filling the space with drama, music and images.
