Where to find Lumignons du Coeur ?
Lumignons are sold for €2 at Festival of Lights information points, the Tourist Office, and partner shops.
This year, the proceeds from the Lumignons du Cœur campaign will go to the non-profit SINGA Lyon. You can add your own personal ray of light to this participative installation by buying a €2 candle from Festival of Lights information points, the Tourist Office, and many city centre shops.
SINGA* Lyon, which acts to foster the social inclusion of refugees by creating opportunities to meet and connect, will soon be celebrating its tenth anniversary. The organisation works to build social connections between local residents and newcomers, helping to break isolation and support access to employment.
SINGA Lyon creates strong synergies thanks to the support of its 2,500 members and volunteers. Rooted in the city’s long-standing tradition of hospitality, it takes part in major local events such as the Agir à Lyon festival, the Christmas market on Place Carnot, the solidarity ticket scheme at the Théâtre des Célestins and the Inspire festival, which encompasses inclusion-focused initiatives.
*The word "Singa" means “the bonds that unite us” in Lingala, a Bantu language.
