A visual artist, musician and set designer, Thierry Pierras channels his talent into poetic visual and sound works that inspire connection. He works across theatre, festivals and cultural events, where he excels in participatory projects and video mapping.
Speaking about the creation of Les Malles Persanes, he says: “The façades along the banks of the Saône instantly took me back to a time when, at night, you could glimpse the glow of windows revealing kitchens, bedrooms and living rooms – fragments of mysterious lives illuminated while I sat in my room, drawing and building whole worlds out of paper. Now, I can finally release those worlds. For me, drawing remains the most powerful way to create and share stories that can touch a wide audience.”
