In a nutshell

Accroche
Behind this enigmatic title lies an allusion to a warm shade of light, reassuring and comforting, yet also a temperature which is extremely high, even too high...
Contenu

Set in the middle of the Parc de la Tête d’or, 1 000 K...Δ is an intriguing light installation where video mapping meets light sculpture. White, bluish, and red glowing particles sparkle in the night, sometimes resembling stars, sometimes underwater molecules or embers. Light textures gradually envelop the vegetation and the canopy, while the sculptural forms reflect the light, blending with the natural shades of the site. The piece plays on the contrast between comforting warmth and excessive heat, bringing to mind the spark that starts a fire. This immersive, intriguing experience is an invitation to discover the fragile beauty of living things and reflect on the importance of preserving the precious natural world.

Entry via Boulevard des Belges, through the Porte Tête d’Or entrance (located opposite Rue Tête d’Or).
The Porte des Enfants du Rhône entrance is reserved exclusively for people with disabilities.
