This large-scale immersive experience comes from the prestigious Turkish studio, Nohlab. The work focuses on the concept of the horizon line, which audiences are invited to explore from every angle. At this year’s Festival of Lights, the creators are using a visual and sound effect called iMMERSIVE 360°, which transforms a continuous circular area into a constantly changing space. This is achieved by projecting a video onto a 360° screen, which is visible from both inside and outside. 13 metres in diameter and 2.5 metres above the ground, this monumental creation turns the screen into a source of light. When used in this modular fashion, the light produces complex shapes that evolve into patterns, suspending time and space, and opening up a whole new world!
