Rose Family

Have you seen the members of the mignoniste family, created by artist Philippe Katerine? If not, here’s your chance to get to know them on the park lawns! Arms, feet and heads are randomly positioned and there are even some Monsieur Roses in their entirety! These sculptures of different sizes, scattered around and half-buried, appeal to everyone. The candy pink, curves and their apparent naivety take us right back to our childhood. Philippe Katerine is a singer, actor, director, cartoonist and visual artist who is constantly exploring new territory. His offbeat humour teases us, while his wry view of the human condition draws us closer together! The installation is of course accompanied by light and music... the soundtrack features Philippe Katerine in concert with the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra, recorded in January 2023 – and the volume is on high!

His sculptures have already been on show at the Francofolies de La Rochelle, in Clichy and in Paris.
