Three Gauls Amphitheatre

With seating for 26,000 spectators, it was the second largest amphitheatrein Gaul in the second century. The amphitheatre was a site for performances as well as place of suffering for Christian martyrs, in particular in the year 177. It was rediscovered in 1956..
