A student of Fine Arts, first in Salamanca then later in Madrid, Javier Riera is a big name in light installations in public spaces. Much of his inspiration comes from the outdoors but, this time round, he is working inside in a subtle play on shapes and soft lighting.
His works have been showcased in numerous cities: Sydney, Paris, Rouen, Le Havre, Durham (UK), Shenzhen, Prague and even Miami! His installations have featured in renowned contemporary arts museums or large green spaces such as the Parc de la Tête d’Or in 2022.
