Patrick Grandi, Caroline Léger and Malik Djouad have pooled their talents to create Countdown, a hybrid artwork combining mapping, sculpture and music. Patrick Grandi is a 3D artist hailing from São Paulo who created his first mapping in 2015. Since then, he has been involved in dozens of projects showcased at international festivals, including the Lille Video Mapping Festival, the Bright Festival in Belgium, the Festival de la Luz in Guatemala, Shining Lights in China and Shining Hat Osaka in Japan. Belgian artist Caroline Léger has been exploring the plant world for more than twenty years, creating light aerial installations and striving to reveal the invisible part of living organisms: the roots. Her recent work explores the effect of time on the body and the cycle of life. Composer and pianist Malik Djouad adds an open and eclectic musical dimension to this narrative.
