Let’s carefully observe the pure lines of this ephemeral geometric structure which reveals subtle variations between transparency and opacity. It consists of translucent panels held together by a wooden framework and 3D printed seals, skilfully blending traditional craft and digital precision. Aube is composed of a lightweight yet strong shell which forms an egg-shaped sculpture during the day but takes on a new dimension at night, capturing and gently disseminating colours of varying intensity.
We are struck by the frailty of this structure with its familiar shape and are able to perceive the multiple nuances of the light it diffuses. What better time to discover the Instituto Cervantes, an Art Deco villa located at the bottom of Fourvière hill, which is a new venue for the Festival of Lights? It showcases Spanish and Latin-American culture through language classes, talks and workshops.
