COMCOA (the coordination committee for Saint-Rambert-Lyon 9 Associations) has existed for 48 years and currently counts 32 Saint Rambert associations. In addition to it role as a coordinator, COMCOA keeps watch over the well-being of local residents and promotes "living together" as a primary goal. Each year, COMCOA organizes a forum for associations and a summer festival and publishes a guidebook. For many years, the Festival of Lights at Saint Rambert has brought together residents and given rise to an influence that extends beyond the local area.
