Contenu

Place Antonin Poncet located between place Bellecour and the Rhône was once home to the Hôpital de la Charité. Built in 1622, it was Lyon’s second biggest hospital after the Hôtel Dieu.  Edouard Herriot had it demolished in 1934. Today, only the belltower remains.
