Saltatio Nuphaearum

In the courtyard of the Musée Gadagne, Saltatio Nuphaearum explores the intricate connections between light, matter, and time. The installation plays with natural light and shadows, the filtered light and reflections that come to rest on the walls and floor. As the hours and the people pass by, the perspectives change, revealing this familiar space in a new light. The intensity, direction, and colour of the light create fleeting works of art that appear and disappear as the day goes by. Dialogues does not seek to capture these transformations, but invites us to slow down, to wander through the courtyard and take a fresh look at things that may have already been there, but that we had not taken the time to see before.
