Place de la Paix

Contenu

In 1303, the Grand Carmelites settled in Lyon and had a convent built. They were expelled from the site after the French Revolution. At the beginning of the 19th century, the owner was forced to dismantle the building to create the Rue de la Paix. The nave of the convent church stood in the centre of the square.
