Applications can be made through a number of channels:
1/ Festival of Lights - Call for projects
Whether you're an independent artist or a collective, a student, a young creator or experienced designer, with an association, institution or company, based in the Lyon region or elsewhere, this call for projects is for you !
Selected projects can be financed by grants from the City of Lyon (for associations) or sponsorship (for associations or companies).
We're looking for artists with a creative approach to light, objects, installations and experiments, for contemplative, participative, interactive or immersive projects that play with and subvert public spaces, mainly outdoors, but occasionally indoors as well.
This call for projects dedicated to the various horizons of contemporary lighting design is online:

Closing date for applications is march 29th, 2023. The call for projects is extended until friday March 31st, 2023 (midnight).
2/ The Key Festival Locations - Public procurement
5 lots will be published soon on the City of Lyon's public procurement website to ensure the artistic programming of certain major sites of the Fête des Lumières.
The sites concerned by the public contracts are the following:
Place des Jacobins
Saint-Jean Cathedral
Fourvière Hill
Place des Terreaux
Place Louis Pradel
Applications must be made electronically.
The dates of publication of the public procurements will be communicated in the near future.
