Never before have so many choreographed drones been seen in Lyon! 500 trace the story of light itself in a technological feat that pays tribute to our beloved lumignons, as well as to other lights: the power of constellations and the mysteries of the galaxy. This skyward dance draws us into the dizzy drift of time and the vastness that lies beyond.
With these drones rekindling the magic above us, light is honoured in its purest, most open space. Every 30 minutes, the 500 drones lift off from the Île du Souvenir, rising above the lake in the Parc de la Tête d’Or, for a unique, eight-minute ballet of light and motion.
Please note that, due to the large crowds of visitors, entry to the Parc de la Tête d’Or will be via Tête d’Or gate on Boulevard des Belges (opposite Rue Tête d’Or). The Enfants du Rhône gate will be reserved for disabled access.
