Brussels-born Romain Tardy describes himself as a ‘digital sculptor’, an artistic approach he has been exploring since 2008. His work intricately weaves together the themes of humanity’s relationship with technology and its societal impacts, and are a blend of light, video mapping, objects and sound.
As a co-founder of the AntiVJ label, Tardy has forged collaborations with notable hip-hop artists including Jay-Z, Flying Lotus and Murcof. His ambition is to create physical experiences that “transcend the limitations of the screen”.
