In the Parc de la Tête d’Or, illuminated primates - the origin of the species - move around the trees to a musical score by Scott Gibbons. These beings from another age admire our extraordinary biodiversity projected on luminous totem poles. They break up, tumbling across the grass like phosphorescent prayer beads until they disappear into the blue planet reflected in the lake. Suddenly, it is consumed with fire; flames leap from the ground, swallowing up the creatures of the light before they are reborn from their ashes. The forest ballet begins again launching a new cycle of life. This high-tech fiction is an ode to life and the living world.
