Sébastien Lefèvre has built his artistic career around the performing arts. Trained in Lyon and a graduate of the ENSATT School of Art, he worked as a stage manager for a number of companies before embarking on a collaboration for several years with Maryse Delente's ballet company in 1999. As a lighting designer for renowned dance and theatre companies, he also creates artworks for various festivals. His memorable installations for previous Festivals of Lights include La Vague, Caprice and L’Homme Digital. Often monumental in scale, Sébastien Lefèvre's works seek to subvert the urban landscape.
